So i woke up at around 8:30am(surprisingly), and my mom and sister wasn't in the room, obviously they woke up earlier, and my little brother was watching tv in my room. I struggled to lift myself up from the carpet to my bed and extend my slumber, but since it was my birthday, there were a lot of things to be accomplished.watched a little more tv before finally leaving my room to take a bath and get ready for the day.
We had 2 visitors for the day; my grandpa's brother and his wife.i arrived downstairs to the feast; there were chicken and spaghetti, chocolate cake, fruit salad, lengua, my grandma's famous bread pudding, and a whole lot more. To my surprise, i wasn't really that hungry..and that IS unusual for me, a guy who once ate 11 plates of corned beef with rice in one sitting, who ate seven slices of domino's pizza, who can finish a gallon of vanilla ice cream, and still retain my figure. I wasn't as "pigging out" as i always do. I only had a small serving of spaghetti, and 3 pieces of chicken.plus fruit salad for dessert.
After all that, i went back to my room upstairs and turned on my pc, ym'ed for a while and pikatchua greeted me a happy birthday. Yay! :D Then me, my dad, sister and little brother went to mass that afternoon in MERVILLE, where i spent the most fun parts of my childhood.after the mass, i asked my dad to drive us around the whole friggin' place 'cause i just want to see how much the place changed..ALL the houses there looked so AWESOME.i dream of living there someday when i have a successful carreer and a family of my own.
After that, we went home(here) and picked up my mom and we went to sm mall of asia, seeing as it would be the most probable open mall this new year holiday. We walked around for a while, and my dad tells me he'll be doing research on our family tree, our ancestry, from the archives of the latter day saints(the religious order which allegedly has records of everyone's lineages on microfilm). I'd join him, since i find history appealing, and since it was OUR family's history. We walked around some more, and most of the stores we went to were BOOKSTORES(go figure.XD). I found this book i really wanted to buy; a color index book that i can use for my work. My friend jerome highly recommends a color index book but i was short on cash that moment. Dayyymmmnnnnnn.birthday na birthday, walang pera! hahaha!
We heard there was gonna be a fireworks display that night, so we all headed to the bay side area of MOA. All the people started gathering there, to view the fireworks. We waited for a while, my dad giving us acronyms to guess..Then it started to RAIN. And i knew that the people would start rushing to the shades, so i led our family immediately to the nearest lamppost(the lamp had a diameter of around 2 yards), since the rain was only a slight drizzle. The fireworks began, and everyone started to come back to the open field area. The fireworks were AWESOME, but the whole show lasted for only 15 inutes tops. I was also texting piKATCHUA that time, and i also texted my friend meng-huaHAHAHA, her cousin. They were both on a road trip to baguio that moment.
When all the commotion was over, we headed back inside MOA, went to Gloria Jean's cafe,a place i've never visited before, it was my first time entering a GJ's,--since we don't usually do coffee: y'know, its EXPENSIVE and all,and we weren't that financially obtuse.XD
My usual S.O.P. when going to a coffee place is to order their HOT CHOCOLATE first. One reason, is that i'm not that much of a coffee drinker, another is I LOVE CHOCOLATE DRINKS. So i tried their hot chocolate with marshmallows, and MAN!WAS IT GOOD!!

And so, we left MOA. My dad offered to drive me back here, even though it was out of the way..I guess being a BIRTHDAY CELEBRANT has its perks XD. I wanted us to go through that new road i heard about from my sister, along villamor airbase. By the way, did i mention our subdivision is right beside the airport?so there, they brought me all the way here, and when i entered the house and ate dinner, my older brother was there, FLAILING about the harry potter book he's been reading on an e-book in his cellphone. Ugh. Though it was a very informative dinner, i learned a lot about the story without having to struggle through the thick book page per page.
I turned on my pc and activated ym.i got to chat with my friend aya, and asked her about this girl, nikki, a fellow DeviantArtist. this girl had me intrigued, because last christmas, she spent her time in MERVILLE, near here, and she messaged me on DA that she wants to learn WUSHU; which i happen to know.(although my knowledge is of the traditional wushu, kung fu) I learned that she watched the wushu tournament during the sea games, and ironically, i was also there. Aya tells me this girl is currently studying violin, another thing i have a bit of knowledge from(i studied in freshman college). So i was like, i'd lke to talk to this person more, maybe i can learn stuff.
Overall, this birthday was rather complete, despite the fact that i hadn't done my BIRTHDAY RITUAL(sitting in a quiet room alone when the time of my birth arrives and reflect). Not bad for my first blog post for the year, huh?
The TIEN-o-Meter gives this birthday, an 8 out of 10 XD
